Daniel, I think you've done a remarkable job here of something that I long ago got too tired to do. I've explained libertarianism using this kind of logic to thousands of people, before being put on the LP's "blacklist", and no longer talking with thousands of people every week. Your ideas are the ideas this world needs more of. I've said in other places on the web that you are of my phyle, and I think that's true. You, Doug Casey, Harry Browne, and many other good people want the things you espouse on this page. You are a good person, Daniel, and have a very constructive way of looking at things. Keep writing the excellent material, I think you are very close to the truth.

Well, then you didn't debunk anything. :)

The thing is I'm not trying for a "social system". It's more like a lack of a system.

As for "extreme individualism", where is your society or your community without individuals? And how exactly do you build a good egalitarian community while at the same time disrespecting those same individuals as full persons?

I'm not advocating greed or special benefits for special people. I'm advocating earning what you have and then having the right to keep it or share it of your own free will, not because the state puts a gun to your face or because a mob of ansocs will come down to your house (which you barely even consider as "your") if you don't.

I'm sorry, but if you want any social system ones based on disrespect of the fundamental unit of communities isn't going to work very long, and certainly wont lead to the fulfillment of this "Egalitarian potential".

Nice try! I am not going to work as hard as you have here to debunk all the holes in your extreme individualist thinking. No social system can be perfect if made up of Humans because we are imperfect social beings. People who want to defend the status-quo of privilege for a few, which by definition does not work for the vast majority, will always find ways to deconstruct and demonize any attempt to create a system that is more fair to the vast majority.

Anarchist socialism is about creating a system that is based first and foremost on "Egalitarian Principles". We all must learn to share fairly, like we were taught as little children. This may piss off those who believe they are entitled to have more because they are special or supposedly work harder or smarter but the reality is we are all in the same boat and in the end social fairness will win out over individual egoism and greed. It may take another decade or two or even three but it will happen because technology is moving us inexorably toward fulfilling our Egalitarian potential.
